Here are the very first models I made, all the way up to the first time I textured. It was the first time converting to editable poly, and learning about things such as: Extrude, Inset, Chamfer, Boolean Subtract and different shapes. I also learnt how to move, rotate and scale with "W", "E" and "R"

The Crate was the first time learning how to texture and change reflection based on texture using black/white maps.

Photoshop Typography Practise

I used dafont to download and install custom fonts onto photoshop. Using this i made creative logos with fonts, layer masks, gradients and background images.  All of them had different, custom fonts and different ways of creating backgrounds. This would be the practise to make 'The Years Between' logo.

Mudbox Sculpting Practise

Mudbox is a 3D sculpting, texturing and painting program used to add on to and develop existing basic models from programs such as 3Ds Max. The program can export highly detailed texture maps to low poly basic shapes and models.

You can sculpt, smooth, grab, pinch, flatten, imprint stencils, paint, pose and much more to design and create your models with as much freedom as possible while keeping a good typography.

The program is similar to 3Ds max with its tool menus, controls and ability to show wireframes and scale, rotate and move around the scene.

Our first test was adding basic details and skin texture to a T-Rex which we didn't do for very long before starting and creating an 'Alien' model from a basic human head.
